Yesterday 1st FC Magdeburg reached their goal and beat Kickers Offenbach 3-1. Thus, the curse is resolved and our boys can finally play professional football again after 25 years.

Despite the goal in the 24th minute on the Offenbach side, the stadium belonged to the 2,500 blue and white fans who made the crowd roar and the presenters despair as they could no longer understand their own words. At the latest, after Schiller, Fuchs and Hebisch made it 3:1 and kicked the team into the 3rd league, the enthusiasm could not be topped and the interviews were drowned out by the Magdeburg chants.

The fans were also in their element in front of the television and at public viewing. Among them of course the cybertrading team. Those who would like to celebrate their team officially once again can do so today from 5 p.m. on the Alter Markt, where Lord Mayor Lutz Trümper will be welcoming the 1st FCM.
